BTS sets another record as the first Korean artist to rise to the top of the Hot 100 list. It was the first Korean artist to reach the highest peak on the Billboard'Hot 100' main single chart.
Billboard announced on August 31 that the BTS took first place with their first English single 'Dynamite' and made a grand entry into the Hot 100 chart.
The Hot 100 list summarizes the most popular songs every week in the United States, and combines streaming performance, music sales, and broadcast times.
It is the first time in history that a Korean artist has ranked number one on this chart. Prior to this, the best record for Korean artists was Psy, who recorded second place for 7 weeks with 'Gangnam Style'. But there was no Korean artist who was ranked number one.
